The center attraction of the Grand Ballroom is a genuine lead crystal chandelier clad in gold. A beautiful antique, the chandelier hung in John Looney's mansion in Rock Island in 1897. At 9 feet long by 5 1/2 feet wide the chandelier weighs over 800 pounds. The prisms of color bounce off the mirrored pillars, casting beautiful light throughout the facility.
